All U.S. companies that ship products valued at more than $2,500 are required to complete and submit a Shipper’s Export Declaration (SED) along with their export shipments.
New Rules In Effect
Beginning in July 2008, all exporters, or their export agents, must now file their SED via the Automated Export System (AES). BGI will handle the SED export filing and maintain those records for you and for U.S. Customs.
